This group has been established to consolidate all of the Jackson, MI photography happenings, classes, photo walks, workshops, and any other photography related activities into one place to make it visible to as many area photographers as possible. This is a group for anyone interested in attending workshops in the arts. My hope for this group is to be able to offer at least one workshop a month, if not more, in various artistic mediums. Photography, painting, printmaking, quilting are just a few of the possibilities. Other outings can include art museums, film festivals, etc. If there is a specific interest you have please let me know. This meetup is for people who love to watch birds and other wildlife. We will meet at natural areas and move slowly, quietly and in small groups, so as to have a chance to observe and not startle and scare away the creatures we're trying to see and appreciate. Families and nature enthusiasts encouraged to join. Interested children and youth as long as accompanied by a grown-up also welcome.
